Nyko Zoom Kinect Lens lets you enjoy your Kinect in a smaller room

While the Microsoft Kinect is one amazing piece of technology that brings gaming to a whole new level of immersion, it does have one drawback: you need quite a lot of space to use the controller properly. Stand too close or too far away and it'll have problem recognizing your movements, which is a problem for people who want to play with their friends but don't have a room that's large enough.

Well. The folks over at Nyko have come up with a solution to the problem. Called the Nyko Zoom Kinect Lens, this useful gadget fits over the Microsoft Kinect and lets it zoom into the action, increasing its zoom level and therefore reducing the amount of space required for the Kinect to function by 40%. With this device, there's no longer any need for you to fight with your family/housemates to get a bigger room just to play your favorite multiplayer Kinect games.
